Odisha FC and Mohun Bagan Super Giants will face each other in the AFC Cup 2023-24 group stage, both teams making their debut in the continental competition.
The two Indian teams will play each other twice, with the first match being played at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on September 19, 2023 and the second match being played at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan (VYBK) in Kolkata on November 27, 2023.
Odisha FC is coached by Sergio Lobera, who led FC Goa and Mumbai City FC to ISL Shield.
Mohun Bagan Super Giants is coached by Juan Ferrando, who has previously coached FC Goa and ATK Mohun Bagan. The team has a number of talented players in its squad, including Hugo Boumous, Liston Colaco, and Jason Cummings.
Both teams will be eager to make a good impression in their AFC Cup campaign. A win in the opening match against each other would be a great boost for either team.
