Northeast United FC have announced the signing of experienced defender Michel Zabaco. The 34-year-old Spanish left-back joins the Highlanders from Burgos CF, where he helped the club to promotion to La Liga Segunda División in the 2022-23 season.
Zabaco began his career at Atlético Madrid, where he progressed through the youth ranks before making his senior debut in 2015. He went on to play for a number of clubs in Spain’s Segunda División B, including Cultural Leonesa, FC Cartagena, SD Ponferradina and UD Logroñés.
