In a notable development in the Indian Super League (ISL) transfer market, Isaac Vanmalsawma Chhakchhuak, the versatile midfielder, has inked a deal with Punjab FC, marking a new chapter in his ISL career.
Isaac’s journey in the ISL began with Shillong Lajong in 2014, where he showcased his talents as an offensive midfielder and occasional right winger. His pivotal role contributed to Lajong’s decent performance during the 2016–17 season. Subsequently, he joined FC Pune City for the 2017–18 ISL season, and in June 2018, Isaac signed a two-year deal with Chennaiyin, where he scored his maiden ISL goal against ATK.
