Sreenidi Deccan Football Club has secured the signatures of seasoned Ivory Coast midfielder Ibrahim Sissoko for the upcoming Hero I-League season. Sissoko is the fifth foreign player to join Deccan Warriors in the summer transfer window
Sissoko played for Ivory Coast in the respected Toulon U-20 Tournament, facing Colombia, Italy, and Portugal in 2011. He started his European football journey with Portuguese team Académica under Andre Villas Boas, then moved to Bundesliga’s VfL Wolfsburg for €1.5 million. Later, he was loaned to Panathinaikos, scoring in a UEFA Champions League qualifier against Motherwell, before joining France’s St. Etienne.
