Baoringdao Bodo: A Rising Star

Born on October 17, 1999, in Assam, Baoringdao Bodo has emerged as a promising Indian footballer, primarily playing as a winger for TRAU football club in Manipur.

Bodo’s journey in professional football includes representing the India under-19 team and captaining the nation at the under-17 level. In May 2016, he, along with four AIFF Elite Academy boys, inked a long-term contract with former ISL Champions Chennaiyin FC, becoming the youngest player ever contracted with any ISL club.

During the 2016-17 I-League season, Minerva signed Bodo on loan from Chennaiyin FC, where he made significant contributions, including becoming the youngest player to score in I-League.

On January 23, 2019, Bodo made a permanent transfer to Kerala Blasters FC, showcasing his versatility and talent. His football journey continued as he signed a two-year deal with Odisha FC on June 11, 2020.
